Vinayak's comedic style stems from his Bengali upbringing and his adventures, like when he escaped his family's wrath when they found out he wasn't going to be a doctor or when he evaded the Indian police when he was an accomplice for the murder of a cow. 

 

He is the award-winning author of the book Comedy Is No Joke! The Stand-up Comic's Guide to Success. It's been endorsed by the booker and opener for the Tonight Show with David Letterman, Eddie Brill. Soon after getting his book published, Vinayak won The New Face of Comedy Award for this accomplishment.

 

He has worked with big names such as Russell Peters, Kabir Singh (Comedy Central), Camille Solari (Comedy Central), Mark Brazill (Co-Creator of That 70's Show), and many more!! He became the youngest comedian to perform at the Boston Comedy Festival and the Kolkata Comedy Festival. He was an opener for the LOL Stars Tour and the Outsourced Comedy Tour. He was the feature on the Boston Comedy India Tour where he also became the youngest comedian to ever tour India.
